It's a good recommendation I think to never accept the DOS position (Director of Studies). You get a little more money. Usually not more than 1 or 2 thousand more per month than the other teachers. But you pay for it. Teachers yell at you for what the boss did, students yell at you for what the teachers did, parents yell at you for what the school did, the boss yells at you for something stupid he did and you listened to him. Occasionally lawyers of the students parents might yell at you. And believe me, you can't effect any change to make things better, that's a pipe dream. Hi all,Just to add my two cents worth. I agree with Dave, you are just a Toothless Tiger. No power to change anything, and the gain is certainly not worth the pain.
